I have turned on Member Activation. What this means is that now when people register to use the forums, they will have to receive a notice from the forum in their email, and from that notice activate their account here. Before it was immediate, where you just automatically had an account once you registered.
The reason I'm doing this is because we are getting quite a few human spammers, who are using bogus emails in their registration.
Member Activation is still not full prove against human pain the a** spamming, but it's an extra step one must take to register, and there must be a legitimate email.
