General Astrology Discussion / Re: Prediction vs Perfect Hindsight

OK, Halina

The chart you have chosen, with Ascendant matching the Moon on the Natal Chart, shows a Jupiter return starting to take place.  That would be encouraging.  Also, Transiting Saturn is Sextile the Venus-Moon conjunction, and Transiting Uranus is Trine Mercury.  This seems to line up fairly well with your February 16th date.  It is a rather encouraging chart in the sense of the current transits, but as I said, I have never used these before.  I wonder if anyone else who is reading and writing here has used them much.

What do you see happening with this chart?

Hi Ken,   this biwheel show absence of any aspects so we throw this epoch out and use the first one in post above with Epoch Moon 29Sg13 as
it shows difficulties.   Here is the biwheel we throw out as it does not depct your current situation.

Ken, here is the first of your 2 possible concepcion charts in a biwheen for today's transits.

                                                                         https://i.postimg.cc/vTbfp4tG/Haining-Prenatal-Concepcion.jpg
Does it fit well with your current situation or is the next biwhee better?
You ask why 2 concepcion charts?   RULE;  the Moon of the concepcion chart is the same as your natal Asc or Natal Desc, i.e.
either the Moon of the concepcion chart is either 29Sg13 or 29Gem13.    By checking past events against either of the 2 possibilites
gives the correct concepcion chart.     Next post I produce your other concepcion chart in a biwheel with today's transit.
Determine wihich conception chart is the real you.   Thanx

Hi Halina

Thanks for your continuing generous insights into my life and times these days.  I appreciate it.

I have never used a Conception Chart.  I know that  it is 10 Lunar Cycles from conception to birth, and it has been postulated that human reproduction is absolutely linked to the Moon, and that we would not be able to reproduce on other planets.  All science fiction fantasy aside, we are almost certainly restricted to this planet.  But don't tell Elon Musk.

I am not sure why there would be two possibilities, and right down to the conception time.  In any event, I will leave it to you to look at that current transits on those charts and tell me what you see.  Yet another way to look at astrology.

Hi Ken,  your prenatal concepcion chart is just as effective as your natal in following events in your life.   I have narrowed your PRENATAL CONCEPCION CHARTS
to 2 possibilities. namely Jan 10, 1952 or Jan 24, 1952....both charts show conflict in the 9th House of religion, particulary the chart with Mars in the 0th
House of Religion.    Here are the charts.   I will test each with your current transits.

Hi OD'd Alexander

Thanks for that further demonstration of those type charts that you have been using, Solar Return to Moon.  That seems quite accurate.

I suppose if an astrologer knew me at that time, and was reading my chart with the knowledge of the rather bogus career I was in, and perhaps using this technique that you have used here,  he or she would have been able to predict my split off from that insane religious group, and the fallout that I would have to endure as a result.  That's the kind of thing I am looking for.  I guess I am trying to "reverse engineer" the hindsight and use it as a model for future prediction.

With Pluto hard squaring my Natal Mercury at this time, I am getting hammered yet again.  As Saturn moves to trine my Natal Mercury, and also sextile my Mars-Ascendant, I am hoping that Saturn will "save the day."  Saturn is just now coming into the 2 degree orb of trining my Natal Mercury, so I am eager for its beneficial effects to kick in.

Robert Peltier, in his book, Planets in Aspect, notes that transits to a planetary stellium will affect the whole stellium, even when it is actually aspecting just one or some of the planets within orb.  As I have a stellium in Libra, with Sun, Saturn, Neptune, MC, and Mercury, I find this an interesting concept.  It does seem, however, that the planet that is most precisely being aspected by transit is where you "feel it."  That can be good as well as bad, depending in what kind of transit it is, of course.

I can't help wishing that I was at one of the "deliverance" dates that some have postulated.  Nine more days until the 16th of this month, the date that Halina told me to "mark on your calendar."  It will be interesting to see how this plays out, providing I am able to still navigate to the point of better times.  Astrology gives hope, and wisdom.  It gives hope during the tough times, as you know the planets are moving.  And, it gives the wisdom to make the most of favorable times, as those times don't last forever either.

Thanks again for taking the time to do that analysis.

Ken

Here is the Solar Return to Moon for the year of the event.  Again, it is in this type of chart that the angularity is stunning.

Pluto at the Ascendant, square your natal Pluto; of course suggests some major personal transformation.  It also highlights that some circumstance in your life started off bangers, got to be habitual, and then was standing in the way of further needed development and had to be let go of or dropped.

With Saturn and Pluto in mundane square, (from Eshelman)

Lastly, we can't help but notice the Uranus-Neptune conjunction (altered psychic states, sudden unconsciousness, sudden new reality) squaring your natal Neptune-MC conjunction (ie. religion as a business/career).  Ideals changed and it made the old way untenable.

Here is the demi LR to Sun for the event.  The combined angularity and symbolism suggesting this would be the two weeks something would manifest.

METHOD 3, Examining 4 Charts for eacch Quarter.
Allow 45 minutes for each Quarter to follow momentum changes and which team is favored by BENEFICS Venus, Jupiter and Part of Fortune.
Look at the 4th Quarter chart at 6:45 pm MST or 8:45 EST.....the MH changes to GEMINI, the twins.....2 teams share the MH of FAME, in
other words, we have a TIED GAME.   This fact is reinforced by KANSAS CITY'S ruler of their 7th House is JUPITER which is in the 8th House
of SHARED RESOURCES, also suggesting a TIED GAME.    This game may go into OVERTIME or be decided by a FIELD GOAL in the dying seconds.

METHOD 2: Predicting Winner By Moon's Last Aspect
In 75% of games, the Moon's last applying aspect within 5 degrees, wins the contest.   In the above game chart we have
the Moon applying to Venus, the exalted ruler of the 4th House of HOME TEAM.   So favorite, exalted, PHILLY  will win.

Re: "...Noel said that the Nodal connection to a maternal influence was ‘undeniable’"

I think in terms of reading natal influence that is correct.  Planets contacting the Node in the natal horoscope often do show influences/factors in the maternal experience.  (especially the "Father-default" where Mom has to cover both roles)

In moving systems, in has other connotations.  The Node coming to other planets suggests some meeting or forming association (...the S. Node often some critical ending of some).  Contacts to the Node often relate to some change (of the type of the planetary contact), relating to (or experienced through) some association.  This association is often familial, but isn't restricted to that; nor is it specifically female.

I think with some of the "karmic" connections made to the Node, we have to be careful about assigning too much particular level of meaning to something indicated by one factor.  (a mass-less axis, at that)   If I take the North Node to be where my attention SHOULD go for my Soul's development, and take the South Node as where I have relied too much in the past, and should definitely not overdo in this one, then in whatever Houses these two find themselves; we are assigning a relative importance to one and making (potentially) a pariah of the other.
