Adventurer of The Year, Hilaree Nelson, Ski Mountaineer
« on: September 28, 2022, 08:59:49 AM »
Hilaree Nelson (December 13, 1972 – September 26, 2022) was an American ski mountaineer.   She became the first woman to summit two 8000-meter peaks (Everest and Lhotse) in one 24 hour push on May 25, 2012.   On September 30, 2018, Nelson and partner Jim Morrison made the first ski descent of the "Dream Line", the Lhotse Couloir from the summit.   Lhotse is the 4th-tallest mountain in the world and shares a saddle with Mount Everest.
Nelson was named one of "The 25 Most Adventurous Women of the Past 25 Years" by Men's Journal, as well as being named as one of National Geographic's 2018 Adventurers of the Year.
       Death
On September 26, 2022, Nelson fell while skiing with her partner, Jim Morrison, down from the summit of Mount Manaslu in Nepal.  Initial rescue efforts were hampered by bad weather but on September 28 her body was located on the south face of Mount Manaslu and was carried down to the base camp by rescuers.   She was 49 years old, and has 2 children.    She has Aries rising and Sagittarius on MC, thus blending
Mars-Jupiter characteristics.   Mars conj Uranus gives her daring....willing to take risks.   Her death triwheel below.

Saturn with Mars is right for falls (and death) and with Uranus, accidents.

Sad that it happened, but as astrologers, what can we really say after the fact, but that "it happened right on time and under symbolically correct astrological factors"?

RIP

Inner: Natal solar chart
Outer: Transits

No, since I didn't have a rectified time (that was reliable), nor a lot of time to post, it's "merely" the natal in the inner with transits surrounding.  (ie. the standard chart that anyone might have posted)

I fixed it, now it's labeled...
