Great feature to see pictures of people

Dear Dana, Dear Noel,

I wanted to congratulate you on what I consider to be great improvement. Actually being able to see more information about other posters (including pictures) helps a lot to establish a closer rapport to people that we "know for years" and, for a European as myself, you will not believe the surprises I have been having today - do you actually believe that in many cases i was wrong about the gender of our posters? I though I was talking to a woman and it turns out to be a man or otherwise.

I have had my share of true and good laughs today!!!

I couldn't agree more! It is so nice to see so many faces, and some of the avatars people use too are fun and interesting too.

I really like the features of this forum, and I think as folks discover short cuts that are provided they will find this forum a rick and full experience.

Hi Ana,

I cut off my beard a few months ago because it was getting too white.  I did leave my mustache and sideburns, and I'm dyeing them brown.  I've been trying to persuade someone with a digital camera to take a new picture of me so I can use that one on forums.  In the meantime, I've been using a picture of a Portland statue.  (Donnalyn knows all about the statue.)

It is fun to see pics of people with the posts. Yep, I was also fooled regarding people's gender for awhile, LOL!

It will take a while for me to get used to the new forum set-up, however, this style of forum does have some interesting perks.

Now, if we can include chart attachments with our posts in an easy to post way, now that would be very useful!

We must all march along with what the majority call progress, Libra Sun that I am, I will go peacefully along, to get along, ha ha!
