Most of us are familiar with Lunar Returns. Solar Fire or your astrology program easily calculates your Venus Return chart for any date. So I went back to a time when I had my first love affair, July 1, 1962 and had Solar Fire produce the Venus Return for that period. In this chart Venus returned to the same position it was in my natal and it did this on the date, Dec 9, 1961. This is my Venus Return chart for 1 year, roughly Dec 9,1961 until the next Venus Return, Dec 9, 1962.
I use this Venus chart in a biwheel, Venus Return chart in the middle and the transits for July 1, 1962 on the outside wheel. Wow! Absolute correlation, transitting Venus was exactly conj the 7th cusp, partnerships and exactly trine my Venus Return Sun, ruler of the 7th of partnership in the 10th House. Tr Sun conj tr Moon, in 5th!
So using this method you can look ahead and see if a coming year is good for your love life. Also look back when your affair or love life ended and you will probably see transitting Venus in bad aspect to your Venus Return chart. You can also use precession if you like and employ Aries Points for really significant events, also P of F.
A woman in her Venus Return chart for the year had Venus conj Mars in 11th, so issue of a relationship were due that year. The 11th is fifth of her 7th, so it would be something about her husband. Corroboration was Sun in the 10th, ruling her 7th husband, conj Pluto, something about a change in relationship. The husband informed the woman he didn't want to be married anymore. There was another woman in his life. Trans Venus squared Pluto in the Return chart. He moved in with another woman when trans Venus conjuncted Return Saturn and squared Return Venus, Jupiter, Mars, bringing finality to her long marriage.
So when you see posts about movie stars forming new relationships or divorcing, don't forget their Venus Return chart in a biwheel with current transits.
