Mark Zuckerberg Rectification Example

Below I'm posting my 24-hour rectification (done today) of Mark Zuckerberg's birth chart. The notes are copied directly from my work as I went along, biographical info of which was copied and pasted directly from open source wikipedia. They are not all chronologically arranged, but you should be able to follow them. I used this example partly because of the overall simplicity and that there aren't too many life events used. Normally I prefer many more events, but it just wasn't necessary in this one when using a combination of transits and progressions.

I'll let the notes speak for themselves and you can jump in with questions or comments. Note that if you check my work you will see some orbs differ when it comes to MC and house cusps. That is because I have to adjust the figures achieved by standard calculation methods that do not use magnetic north for MC, etc. Those adjustments are noted in line in the notes.

This was about as easy a rectification as they come. I suspect that if we ever get a birth time for him it will be for a time later than indicated in this rectification. I can explain for anyone who is interested. Mark is one of the best, clear examples of Sagittarius rising I can think of.

In case you think you've caught an error in the timing of any astro.com charts I may include here, astro.com uses 0:00 UT (GMT) for its transit and progression timing, so for North American time zones I advance it a day past the event so that the planetary positions (Moon especially) are much closer to where they should be.

Re: 12th house Uranus - it is such an obvious part of his nature; hard to see it hidden away, even by just a few degrees.

also rectified to a Virgo ascendant which could make sense with his progressed Venus at the time of his marriage. It would be conjunct his IC and square his ascendant. Having said that, my son is 21 Virgo rising and looks nothing like him but perhaps his Cancer sun makes the difference. Then again, my brother is 22 Sag rising (Aries Sun) and did not look like him when younger.
The Virgo rising would put 3 planets in his 3rd including Uranus and Mars which makes sense with creative thinking and obvious intelligence.

     Zuckerberg looks like Larry Baer, CEO, front office, San Francisco Giants.  Also smart, attended Harvard Business School.  See photo below.  Both men are of German descent.  Couldn't find Baer birthdata.

This alone negates a Virgo Asc with the  bulk of planets in feminine signs - Taurus and Scorpio.

There's no way he's Virgo rising. Genuine Virgo risers are introverts and slow starters who need to build confidence before they excel. There would be a good potential argument for Virgo IF he had strong air/fire elsewhere in the chart - bulk of planets, but he does not. That requires air/fire on the Asc. Virgo types are far too picky and detail-oriented for the expansive early application of talent as demonstrated by Zuckerberg.

In rectification, always look first to the physical qualities to match the Asc and to those things which align with the Asc or would fall in the 1st house to match the person, their modus operandi and their innate talents.

The first house Jupiter reinforces the Sagittarius Asc, those eyes would be 1st house Neptune, and his stockier neck would be his Sun and Venus in Taurus.

     Next, Fiedrich Murnau, German film director, same Ascendant, with the long face characteristic of Sag rising.

Yes, they all resemble Mark Zuckerberg, shown again, below, with his long face. in the Aries decan of Sagittarius accounting for his red hair.
Mark Pottinger, astrologer, is the best look-a-like. shown beside Zuckerberg below.
     19 to 20 Sagittarius is in the Cancer Dwad, found by dividing 30 degrees of Sagittarius into 2degree30 minute segments where the first 2.5 degrees is Sag, then Cap., then Aquarius, Pisces, Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer.... Facebook tries to unite everyone into one FAMILY, which Zuckerberg's CANCER dwad does quite effectively.

     Below is Zuckie's Dwad chart, Sag Ascendant, in Cancer Dwad(family of friends).   Uranus, groups at the MH;  Jupiter Gemini, in the 11th for huge networking to find friends, etc.  Mars Gemini in 11th, much active networking with computers, ruled by Gemini.  Sun Aquarius in 8th, humanitarian sharing of network resources.  Saturn(business) conj Mercury(computers) in 9th Higher Learning speaks of Zuckie's training.   The natal MH is in the Aquarian Dwad of Friends, in the 7th House of Partnerships.   Using Dwads we open up the rainbow spectrum of one's natal potential.

Hi Kannon, I've come across plenty of proposed rectifications out there and always wonder if any Astrologer has ever actually tried to get a copy of his BC.   

With your time, I like how his natal Jupiter and natal Uranus both contact his MC.  N Jupiter squares the MC-IC axis, forming a cardinal T-Square, suggesting a knack for successfully making things happen.  N Uranus is peregrine, promising outstanding individuality no matter what house it is in, and, here, it sextiles his MC, adding extraordinary thrust to his career, social role, and collective significance (in the 12th). 
   
I also like how your time creates a close natal Full Moon in his chart, with his core energies in Fixed signs.  To me, this reflects 1) the central role of reliable partnership in his life, that his relationship with his wife nee longtime girlfriend suggests and 2) a strong need to express and balance Taurus-Scorpio values, where work and wealth are emphasized.
