His natal Capricorn Sun trines the North Korea Virgo Sun, adding cardinal leadership, impact, and a higher profile, perhaps, to serve his country.
Commandeering North Korea’s nuclear armament and threats, ruler Kim Jong-un’s drive for power – with transiting Uranus-Pluto intensifying (square-conjunct) his ambitious natal Capricorn Sun – may importantly advance his country’s nuclear capability. Reflecting this astrology focus and intensity, perhaps he views this military mission as a supreme test, so to speak, for his (Capricorn) achievement as Supreme Leader. And, in his role as North Korea's (father) protector - with his Sun opposing the U.S. Sun, in the Sibley chart - he may naturally concentrate on the U.S. as North Korea's major enemy.
He already has demonstrated strict authoritarian rule and enforcement in office, by ‘purging’ (executing) members in his regime and family who were supposedly disobedient or disloyal. His natal chart (I'm using the 8 January 1983 chart) emphasizes critical decision-making and handling life and death issues - with his Sun-ruling natal Saturn, in demanding Scorpio, conjunct natal Pluto (extreme focus on work, respect, tradition), and squaring his natal Mercury-Venus thoughts and feelings, in rationalizing Aquarius. Certainly looks like seed energy for formidable conflict, elimination, and detachment on the job; not to mention a provocative or dangerous foe.
