Back in 95, i had the chance to read Hank Friedman's software reviews in American Astrology magazine. Back then, he covered the release of Win*Star 1.0: "To get good performance using Win*Star, you'll need at least a 486 processor, 8 megabytes of memory, about 25 megabytes of free hard disk space."
About 22 years later, computer requirements/experience are much more demanding... Still, nothing compares to the needed requirements to get a good Jyotish performance! Even if i had a faster processor and lots of free memory available, where on google earth am i supposed to find "the superlative teachings and presence of a Jyotish Guru

For that alone, i felt absolved for not even trying to grasp more than a few basic concepts.
