Yellowstone again
« on: September 01, 2017, 07:48:38 AM »
Just a little note to report that in the most recent Yahoo article on the geological rumblings in Yellowstone, it was noted that the largest of the minor earthquakes in recent weeks occurred on August 21, registering at 3.3.  Not a big jolt, of course, but the biggest in awhile, and occurring along with the eclipse which sent its path over the caldera.   Of course the article says no need to worry, the park is still code green.  However, by admission on their own website, physical warnings of eruption in the park might only need weeks to become evident, and not years as some insist.  A sleeping giant could wake suddenly.
