Marriage data
Hi all,
I noticed over the years what seemed to be a higher incidence of Sun-Venus and Venus-Sun progressions (and solar arcs) during the year when a person got married.
I wrote a program to try and show that there is a significant bias. I initially thought I'd found it but on later reflection realized that the test data I was generating to compare to the actual data was using a narrower arc in the sky which appeared to be contributing to the bias.
If any of you are programmers, there is a set of 24,000 records with date of marriage and dates of birth of both partners. It was obtained from a Mexican marriage registry and you are welcome to do your own research on it, you can download it from luckydays.tv/proofofastrology
You will see how far I got and what the apparent problem is. I will test the solar arcs when a I get a chance. I just know in my water that there is a bias, I've seen it too many times for it to be purely random.
I'm publishing this since the actual marriage data they have has some errors, and is also in a format that requires programming to extract. So you can download the clean formatted data this way if you like.
thank you,
Adrian
Hi Adrian, My natal Venus = Sun/Moon midpoint. So the year SA Venus = n. Moon in my chart, SA Sun = n. Venus also. It was 2005. I’d been waiting for that year. I fully expected to get married or at least have a significant relationship with a man. I’m a professional musician, singer-songwriter and instead of any romantic relationships coming into my life, it turned out to be an incredibly successful year for me having regular gigs in NYC that were very popular where I was able to play my own songs and compositions to large audiences with the perfect sound. Literally, everything I wanted going my way. Mind you, I have natal Saturn conjunct Mercury in my 11th House of love received and that same Mercury rules my 5th House of love given. Those are mega heavy energies to deal with when it comes to having romance in my life. My Venus rules my 6th House of work, employees/employers and mundane everyday tasks. So instead of romance, Venus brought me artistic work at a high level. 19 years later I am still unmarried because of many life circumstances, but it is still something I desire and I keep my eye on every measurement and every opportunity. I’m also a professional astrologer and whenever I see SA Venus = Sun or SA Sun = Venus, 9 times out of 10 it’s suggesting a marriage or significant relationship or birth of a child. When I see people with charts similar to mine, I often see artists whose ambitions override their desire for romance and I tell them my story.Posted by: @adol33Hi all,

Oh, I completely forgot, this is incredibly important for that time period for me as well. I was deeply studying astrology at that particular time and I did a study on the marriage of Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, the couple who did a reality show on MTV for 3 years and then divorced. I feel that my deep study and binge watching of that series on DVD’s siphoned off a huge amount of that energy that was in my chart. Instead of me getting married, I was dissecting the marriage of another couple for study purposes. It’s fascinating for me and frustrating at the same time! 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome, Adrian. Thanks for that!
